What is Minoware?
Mino ware (Mino yaki) is a type of pottery in which many colours and designs have been created to suit the times and people’s different tastes. As a result, Mino ware uses a variety of techniques and has diverse looks and textures.
Mino ware is made from the soil of Gifu Prefecture, known as Japan’s largest producer of pottery, and the pieces easily blend into daily life.
