Mino Yaki Shibukusa Octagonal Japanese Teacup
The term “Shibukusa” refers to a subdued, or tastefully understated colour, reflecting the spirit of wabi-sabi, the Japanese aedsthetic of finding beauty in imperfection.
The Hakkaku, or octagonal shape, adds an appealing geometry to the design. Crafted by skilled artisans in Japan, each Yunomi, or tea cup, showcases a beautiful balance between form and function.
